You should keep the names of shortcuts/menus short. The name should be able to be displayed in a single
line. If the name is too long, the item will not be displayed properly.
Although the desktop shortcuts can be arranged automatically in any screen size, it is recommended you
use only a small number of desktop shortcuts to avoid messing up.
You should keep the number of submenus/menu options small in a menu system to avoid overflowing(ie.
menu displayed out of the screen).
Netscape 6 (Mozilla) - Because of some bugs in the beta
browser, there is no way to hide the scroll bars and this will affect the layout
of the Desktop. There is a temporary fix for this problem by wrapping
"desktop.html" as a frame inside "desktop_n6.html" so that the correct layout
is maintained. You may need to write some redirecting codes on your own page
so that Netscape 6 users are redirected to open "desktop_n6.html" and IE
users are redirected to open "desktop.html".
You are always recommended to test the page before sending it online(make sure that ALL icon images
are valid when testing the page or you may see a strange layout). When uploading the HTML file,
remember to upload the images, "background.html" and ALL .js files included in the zip also. If you still have problems,
